With the goal of improving the learning environment for an expanding student population the high school academy undertook a renovation of the lower floor of their building. 2020 LED partnered with Puget Sound Energy ‘s – Community Engagement Program and Sustainable Connection’s – Community Energy Challenge to deliver a 100% LED lighting upgrade that featured color tunable LED fixtures with wireless daylight – occupancy sensors and ergonomic wall-mounted touch controllers. The academy teachers have reported that the ability to adjust lighting modes from warm to bright to cool makes it very easy to achieve optimal lighting levels for various classroom needs.
